On behalf of the staff at Villa Grove CUSD #302 I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! There is no greater trust bestowed on an organization than the trust a community grants its school system. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education.
Working collaboratively, our Board of Education, our administrative team and teaching staff will lead and guide the school district in a way which honors the trust you have placed in us. We will consider every decision with the interest of students as the highest priority. We will lead to provide rigorous and relevant educational opportunities for each student. We will do everything in our power to provide a school environment where students feel safe physically and emotionally.
Villa Grove Schools are fortunate to have an extremely dedicated, devoted, and professional teaching staff who will continue to provide the best instructional opportunities for our students each and every day. Likewise, our support staff is a group of hardworking, dedicated, and focused individuals who will ensure that our schools, grounds, offices, classrooms, cafeteria, and buses are safe, clean, and well maintained daily to support the best possible environment for learning.
Over the course of the last school year and this summer we have been working on many exciting improvements in several areas. Improvements will continue this school year and beyond. A newsletter outlining what is in progress and what has been completed will be sent out this week. We feel privileged to be a part of the school community and thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing our students on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Book club finished their last summer book! Summer can get pretty crazy when it comes to having free time, but Alice and Miss Wells made it to the end. They would rate Mark of the Dragonfly a 4/5, and book club a 5/5. 📚 We can't wait to read more this school year! #bookclub
Start off Strong! 1st Day of School is Thursday, August 17th
High School students may pick up their Chromebook on Tuesday, August 15 from 9:00-3:00 or Wednesday, August 16 from 9:00-10:00. Chromebooks will be distributed in the HS Study Hall. JH students will get their Chromebook on the first day of school.
CLASS LISTS will be posted outside the main doors Friday at 3:00! If you have not registered for school please register on TeacherEase. Registration must be completed to be on a class list.
