The middle grade (6-8) book club celebrated finishing Greenglass House by Kate Milford with a brownie sundae party! There was a bet in the book with a sundae as the winnings, so we were inspired. 🍦🍒🍫 We are starting our next read this week with Rump by Liesl Shurtliff 😌

PLAN AHEAD
As winter weather is approaching, please make a plan if we would need to close school.
HOW DO WE MAKE OUR DECISION?
Please understand that we make the decision to open or close school for inclement weather based on careful analysis of all relevant factors, such as:
• Road conditions. We must consider the most dangerous roads in the district. Even if your street looks clear, travel elsewhere in the district may be dangerous.
• The amount of snow and ice that has accumulated.
• Whether or not precipitation is continuous.
• Building/facility conditions.
• Temperature and wind chill.
• Weather predictions. We prefer not to make our decision based on weather predictions because they are not always accurate. However, sometimes it is unavoidable.
COMMUNICATIONS PROTOCOL
Families will be informed of school cancellations or schedule
changes as soon as possible
through the following methods:
