SENIORS:  IF YOU OWE ANY MONEY FOR REGISTRATION FEES, SPORT FEES, DRIVER'S ED, LIBRARY FINES, LOST BOOKS, DAMAGED BOOKS, LOST CALCULATORS, LUNCH PASSES, ETC., YOU MUST SEE THAT THESE OBLIGATIONS ARE TAKEN CARE OF PRIOR TO OUR GRADUATION CEREMONY.  IF YOU HAVE OUTSTANDING FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WALK AT GRADUATION. PLEASE BE PROACTIVE AND STOP IN THE OFFICE AND THE LIBRARY AND SEE IF YOU OWE MONEY TO THE SCHOOL.  

Online ordering of yearbooks has closed. The only way to purchase one now will be through the school. Any student who would like to purchase the last one should see Mr. Cordes ASAP!!!

PROM DATE REQUEST FORMS are now available on the office counter. If you are bringing a date who is not a student at VGHS, you will need to have this form filled out, signed by your parent and returned to the office by May 5, 2017.  If you have any questions, please stop in the office and see Mrs. Alexander. InterState Studios will be our photographer for the evening. Order forms are also available in the office. Package prices range from $10-$32. JUNIORS & SENIORS WHO HAVE NOT YET PAID THEIR PROM FEES MUST DO SO BY FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH. SEE MR. SWAN IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. 
JUNIORS:  YOU MUST HAVE YOUR MAGAZINE MONEY PAID TO MR. SWAN BY FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH, OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR INVITATION TO PROM 2017.
ALL PROM FEES AND DATE FEES ARE ALSO DUE ON FRIDAY, 4/28.
THERE ARE NO SEATS LEFT ON THE CHARTER BUS TO KINGS ISLAND!!! See Mr. Swan if you would be willing to make the trip on our activity bus.
                    
FB Cheer Tryout Clinics: “Mock Tryouts”Tryouts: April 27th 6 PM at VG School Physicals must be turned in to the office prior to tryouts or have a current physical already on record.

Last chance to go to Holiday World! All science club members must turn in their money to Ms. Cler by Friday, April 28th to go on the trip!

VG FFA banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:00 PM. FFA members who have said they will be attending, need to bring the following:  Fresh/Soph:  Pasta or potato dish;  Juniors: Cooked/hot vegetable; Seniors: Salad.  If you have questions, please see Ms. Parr ASAP.

GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING BASKETBALL:  THERE IS A SIGNUP SHEET IN THE HS OFFICE. PLEASE SIGN UP BY WEDNESDAY SO THAT COACH SAPPENFIELD WILL KNOW WHO WILL BE PLAYING SUMMER BALL. 

Freshmen: The PSAT/NMSQT will be given here at school on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. This test is the Preliminary SAT and is not mandatory but will be an excellent practice for your required SAT taken during your Junior year. If students test extremely well, they may eligible for the National Merit Scholarship. The test will cost $16. Sign up with Mr. Sims by Friday, April 28th by the end of the school day. 

If you are planning to take AP Chemistry next year, there will a short meeting in Ms. Cler's room next Wednesday, May 3, during lunch.


NHS STUDENTS:  WE WILL HAVE A LUNCH MEETING/PRACTICE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH. PLEASE MEET IN THE STUDY HALL ROOM AT THE LUNCH BELL. PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED.

On May 10th, Health Alliance will be dedicating a bench to the softball diamond in honor of Dede Eversole.  We are planning on holding the dedication at 3:45 PM, prior to the Varsity game.
